Piano Lessons Sydney South – Jessie Bao

Jess is a patient, tolerant and empathetic teacher. She understands the work required to learn any craft and that the process is always ongoing. Her belief is that we’re all students and her role is to seek to understand the needs of a student and offer tools, insights and encouragement to facilitate the journey of learning.

She has 8 years of experience working with students engaging with the AMEB syllabus, holds an AmusA diploma and is currently finishing her studies at Australian Institute of Music with a major in Composition. In her spare time when not engaged with practicing, music and studies, she can be found reading books, journalling, doing yoga and dancing as a way of practicing mindfulness.

Jess has completed European Piano Academy’s course for teachers focusing on using European and Russian teaching techniques in 2019.

She is available for piano lessons in her Bexley studio and for teaching at students’ homes in the following suburbs of Sydney:
