Piano Lessons Sydney Hills (North Rocks) – Yasmin Abay
Piano teacher based in North Rocks, offering Piano Lessons in the area & surrounding suburbs.
Yasmin studied Music from an early age. She obtained her qualification as Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music London (Teachers Diploma) and started teaching Music at the age of 18 .
Over the years Yasmin has been a piano teacher of many students of different ages and worked with music teachers to achieve a high standard of musical understanding and technical ability.
Yasmin has a passion for playing the Piano and has been on a piano roster in her local Church over the past 26 years in Sydney. She has also enjoyed playing music to entertain the elderly in retirement homes.
Since 2016 Yasmin has been teaching students ranging from 5 to 15 years of age at the GMC School in Castle Hill. During this tenure of employment she has presented students for AMEB examinations for varying grades and has achieved excellent results. During her teaching at this school she prepared her students for the end of Year Concerts, which they all enjoyed very much. She earnestly seeks to help her students to improve their appreciation of music and their skills to reach their maximum potential, ensuring they have fun during the process as well.
Recently Yasmin has also completed European Piano Academy’s course for teachers on how to apply European and Russian teaching methods while teaching students of all different levels.
Yasmin is available to teach Students in her studio in North Rocks as well as visit homes in North Rocks and surrounding suburbs such as Carlingford, West Pennant Hills, Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills.
