Piano Lessons Sydney Inner West – Chatswood – Epping – Parramatta – Donna Cain
Donna Cain has a Bachelor of Music, awarded from the University of New England; and a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) from Sydney College of Advanced Education (City Art Institute).
For years Donna has been a dedicated piano and singing teacher with many years of experience teaching students of all ages. Donna enjoys developing the talents, and a joy for music, in both children and adults.
Soprano Donna Cain trained extensively with international opera singers, including Prizrenka Petković McCray (The Netherlands), Ann Howard (UK) and Amanda Thane (Australia).
Donna has performed for festivals and events, including the 2019 Vivid Sydney at Chatswood, three Glebe Music Festivals, Concord Spring Fair, Campbelltown Cultural Festival and Ku-ring-gai Council’s Twilight Concert in the Park.
Donna has performed the roles of Queen of the Night in the Magic Flute, Marsinah in Kismet, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance and Siebel in Faust. As well, Donna has been a chorus member and chorister in opera and oratorio productions in Australia and overseas.
Other experience includes adjudicating for Eisteddfods, such as the 2012 Nowra Song & Stage Festival.
In August 2015, Donna performed a solo of Bach/Gounod’s Ave Maria with a 62-piece symphony orchestra for Peace Concert 2015 held at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
At Roseville Music Club in October 2015, Donna performed in a classical recital as a member of Ensemble Spiritoso, accompanied by piano, clarinet and trumpet.
Donna sings for corporate functions (clients include Parliamentary Catering and NSW Parliamentary Lions Club for events held at NSW Parliament House), weddings, and as a professional cantor in churches. She appears regularly as a featured artist at Chatswood Markets for Willoughby Council.
