Piano Lessons Sydney Inner West – Strathfield – Angela Xie

Angela is a piano teacher offering lessons in Sydney. Angela has been playing piano since she was six, learning under multiple teachers. She has completed Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) exams in piano, theory and musicianship, completing her AMusA diploma in 2019. Angela has also taken Music as a HSC subject in 2020, completing Music 2 and Music Extension, for which she was nominated for performance in ENCORE, a selection of outstanding performances in HSC music across NSW.

Angela has completed European Piano Academy’s piano teaching techniques course for teachers which focuses on using Erupean piano teaching methods.

Since then, she has been inspired to teach piano and looks forward to passing on her knowledge to students who want to learn how to play piano.

Angela’s teaching philosophy is to help students learn music in a fun and engaging way. Her key skills are in identifying issues in musical performance whether that be technique or interpretation and to work on fixing these with individual students. Angela is able to teach piano to students wanting to learn for leisure or for AMEB exam preparation.
