Piano Lessons Sydney Penrith, Parramatta and Blue Montains – Xenia Apostolov
With over nine years of experience in playing piano, Xenia started in the classical world and got her Higher School Certificate in Music. She then completed a Bachelor of Music at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM); specializing in Contemporary Performance. There, she performed in countless graduating recitals, promotional videos, and has recorded albums and EP’s with other Sydney artists. Xenia has also played with well-known Sydney bands in acclaimed venues such as Foundry 616 and Oxford Art Factory.
Whilst at AIM, Xenia extensively studied and played other styles of music such Jazz, RnB, World and Pop; whilst still holding onto her classical roots. She has studied in on-one-on lessons with veteran piano players from Australia such as Greg Coffin, Dave MacRae and Wendy Anggerani.
Xenia has recently completed European Piano Academy’s piano course for teachers which focuses on how to use European and Russian piano teaching methods while teaching students.
Teaching students in levels from preliminary to Grade 5, She is a very passionate piano teacher and is patient, enthusiastic, and strives to make the student feel comfortable whilst helping them realize their full potential.
Xenia is available to teach at her private studio in Woodford (Blue Mountains) as well as at students homes in the following suburbs of Sydney:
